Hate Me Not: Update #4
Hello Everyone!
It has been exactly 46 days since our last update, and that is for a reason!
During the Unity controversy recently, we decided to take a look at the Godot engine, and we were positively surprised!
We took a leap of faith and started porting our game over.
A few weeks later, here we are, with a stable release that does not run on Unity anymore, but uses the Godot Engine :D
We documented our progress in our ongoing Devlog series:
But not only did we port our game, we made some major refactoring and improvements along the way :)
Here is what changed version 1.3.0:
- Switched from Unity3D to Godot
- New Weapons
- Candle
- Katana
- Dagger
- Scythe
- Boomerang
- Weapons have secondary abilities
- Improved audio, added indicators for wave start and end
- Nav mesh based navigation for enemies, making them avoid obstacles
- Totems spawn randomly instead of 1 existing totem
Expect to see more frequent updates now that we have the technology set, and an upcoming early access version!
See you around in the next one, and let us know what you think in the comments :D
